My second installment to the Chinese New Year diaries. Eating vegetarian food here is quite an experience, the Chinese are not necessarily of the vegetarian stock to begin with. Finding a restaurant is a challenge if you don't know how to read the signs. Signs draped in blue usually points towards vegetarianism and places that serve it. Although, beware, they are seldom Vegan!!! I was a bit cramped for space, sleeping in budget rooms, but that seemed nothing compared to the joy of discovery. My first time in a ethnically Chinese dominated area, and what better place to be, other than in the Singlish speaking Chinatown.
